Wheels and Deals. Are There Pawnshop Where You Can Get A Motorcycle Pawn Loan? Pawning A Motorcycle!
People have dreamed of self-propelling, motion, and action since the 19th Century, when the dream was to move from a horsedrawn carriage to a motorized vehicle, bike, trike, or just about anything with wheels.
In 1884, Edward Butler in Great Britain designed the first commercial three-wheeler, and by 1900 manufacturers were converting bicycles, known then as pedal cycles, into motorized transportation by adding a small cash engine. Manufacturers within the industry attended motorcycle trials and competitions. In 1907, the first Tourist Trophy motorcycle races were held on the Isle of Man. Ideas were put into motion for the early two-stroke-cycle designs to carbon-fiber-reinforced bodywork.
Motorcycles have both two-stroke and four-stroke cycle engines. The smallest motorcycle is a 50cc engine, and the largest is Triumph Rocket 3 with a 2,458 cc engine, bigger than most compact cars. Smaller designs get up to 100 miles per gallon but may not be permitted on public roadways because they have only low-speed capabilities. There are also child bikes, trail bikes, touring bikes, racing bikes, and superbikes.
Motorcycle frames are made of a combination of tubes and sheets made from steel. Wheels are typically aluminum or steel with spikes, and the most recent models may contain graphite, composite, and magnesium parts. These materials provide good strength with less weight. Tires are smaller and rounder and designed to help with the center of gravity so that riders can lean without losing traction. The shape and size of the tires help with improving stability and cornering ability.
Moving forward to 2022, the best motorcycle brands are Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Indian, and Harley Davidson.
The Indian Motorcycle
The Indian Motorcycles Company was founded in 1897 by George M. Hendee. By 1916 a two-stroke Model K featherweight with an open cradle frame. The Model K was manufactured for one year and was replaced in 1917 by the Model O with a four-stroke flat-twin engine and a new style frame. It was manufactured until 1919.
As the US entered WWI, Indian sold most of its Powerplus line in 1917 and 1918 to the US Government. This made fewer bikes available to dealerships and turned to other models to sell.
While Indian shared in the business boom of the 1920s, it had lost its Number One position in the US market to Harley-Davidson.
Harley Davidson
As the US entered WWI, The Indian Motorcycle Company sold most of the Powerplus line to the US government, leaving dealers limited availability. This allowed Harley Davidson to fill the need for domestic-made motorcycles making Harley Davidson the number one manufacturer in the US market.
Few motorcycle brands command the same name recognition as Harley-Davidson. The iconic American company established in the early 1900s has developed an enormous following and remains one of the world’s largest manufacturers in the industry.
The creation of the brand occurred when childhood friends William Harley and Arthur Davidson had an early fascination with bicycles and worked on prototypes for motorcycles in a small shed available to them. They spent all their spare time trying to make the perfect bike. In 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the first Harley Davidson was released, and by 1950, the Harley Davidson factory produced 50 bikes. During WWII, about 88,000 motorcycles and repair parts were built for the military.
To this day, Harley-Davidson remains an iconic American motorcycle brand.

Your motorcycle may be just the ticket if you need a fast cash loan. Dirt bikes, street bikes, Harley Davidson, Yamaha, and other brands will give you quick cash when you use it as collateral for a pawn loan.
How does a pawn motorcycle title loan work?
Pawning a motorcycle at a pawn shop is not a title loan. The pawn shop holds the title and also stores the bike in a safe place, so it doesn’t get damaged and is good as new when you come back to pick it up.
Make sure to bring your title and the bike to the pawn shop whenever you try to get a pawn loan.
Pawn loans don’t require a credit check or income to debt requirements, and there are no eligibility requirements other than a state-issued ID, a clear title, and a bike with a value that will cover the loan amount.
Have an idea about of cash you need.
To get collateral loans against your bike, you must own the motorcycle outright, and a lien search is done on the day you come in to get quick cash to make sure there are no liens against the bike title.
Many motorcycle owners know how much their bike is worth, and you don’t have to take the entire valued amount. If you don’t know what your bike is worth, that’s not a problem. A pawn shop will look up the bike’s market value and be able to give a quick estimate.
Once a value is determined, the pawn shop will go over the contract with all disclosures, including the interest rate and the length of time you have to pay back the loan and tell you about any other refinance options such as extending the time to repay the loan.
Once the loan amount is paid in full, you can pick back up your bike.
Collateral loans are intended to be short-term loans to meet short-term financial needs. Obtaining a pawn loan is quick and easy. If you want to sell your bike outright, the same process will take place, but instead of owing the cash amount back, you will leave the bike, sign off on the clear title, and leave with cash in hand.
